The core objective of CBSE that is to lay foundation for turning today’s young children into mature, responsible and capable citizens of tomorrow is quite in sync with the primary goals of GGIS. The School has classes from Infant to XII. The academic year begins in early April.
English is the medium of instruction throughout the School. Hindi too, holds a place of very high importance in the curriculum, and every effort is made to ensure that each child reaches a high standard in the language. Also, a ‘Third Language’ is taught in the Middle-School, for which an option between Sanskrit and French is available.
For the class X CBSE Examination, the School offers a wide range of discipline options. Apart from the compulsory subjects which include English, Hindi, Social Studies, Mathematics and Science, students are required to select at least one skill-based subject for the Examinations prescribed by the board as per the latest CCE norms.
The All India Senior Secondary Examination (Class XII) of the CBSE, New Delhi is accepted as a qualifying examination for admission to all Indian as well as Foreign Universities.
For the Class XI and XII CBSE examination, the school offers all three streams - Science, Humanities and Commerce.
