Entrance Examination
Every child registered for admission from class 2 onwards is expected to appear for an Entrance Examination at the school. Particulars of these examinations are informed to parents of the registered students by the School well in advance.
i) Nursery to Class I:
An interview with the Head of the Primary Wing/Principal when seeking admission to Pre Primary Section and Class I on ‘First Come, First Served’ basis. There is NO ENTRANCE EXAMINATION for Nursery to class I.
ii) Classes II to IX:
Admission to Middle/Senior School is granted on the basis of clearance of Written Entrance Examination followed by an interview with the Director/Principal or his/her Deputy.
iii) Class XI:
Admission to class XI is granted on the basis of Board Examination Result and an Entrance Examination. The school offers 3 streams: Science, Commerce and Humanities. The number of students in each of these streams is fixed at a certain optimum decided by the ‘Admissions Committee’ from year to year. Vacancies in each stream are offered to new applicants according to their position in the Merit List.

Merit is the sole basis of admission and confirmation of admission strictly depends on:
Once the optimum number in a stream is reached, the option of admission in that stream is closed. However a preference, if required may be given to children of transferable government officials and personnel serving in Armed Forces.
